As part of the Erasmus+ project PlayBall – European Heritage through Traditional Ball Games, we are pleased to present another important project result: the Guide of Best Cultural Practices to Motivate Young Children.
The Guide brings together good practices, approaches and motivational strategies designed to encourage children to be more physically active and participate in sport. It provides useful examples that can support teachers, trainers, volunteers, sport organisations and other professionals working with children.
The Guide represents an important part of the PlayBall programme and contributes to the project’s wider goal of promoting physical activity, social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport, while supporting the use of accessible and engaging activities for children.
The collected practices will also provide a foundation for the further development of the PlayBall traditional ball games programme, educational materials and training activities.
