As part of the GFuture project, the Institute TREND-PRIMA from Maribor successfully organized three important project activities in Slovenia: a promotional event, an online workshop, and a sport event.
The promotional event provided an opportunity to present the GFuture project, its objectives, activities, and expected impact to participants, local stakeholders, educators, families, and community members. Particular attention was given to the role of sport in encouraging healthy lifestyles, social inclusion, environmental awareness, and active community participation.
The online workshop brought participants together in a digital environment where they could exchange knowledge, experiences, and good practices. Discussions focused on the connection between sport, education, sustainability, and the development of inclusive activities for children and local communities.
The sport event offered participants a practical and engaging experience through a variety of games, physical exercises, and outdoor activities. Children, educators, families, volunteers, and other community members took part in activities designed to promote movement, teamwork, cooperation, inclusion, and respect for the environment.
Through the organization of these activities, the Institute TREND-PRIMA contributed to the dissemination of the GFuture project and strengthened its impact in Slovenia. The events demonstrated that sport can be a valuable educational and social tool that connects people, promotes healthy habits, and supports the development of more active, inclusive, and environmentally responsible communities.
We would like to thank all participants, educators, volunteers, partners, and local stakeholders who contributed to the successful implementation of the activities in Maribor and Slovenia.
